About Me

Hello! I am Abbie Waterman. I grew up in the small town of West Branch, Iowa. I am a middle child with two sisters and two step-brothers and have two dogs and two cats who are the biggest joys of my life.

I graduated from Iowa State University in May 2024, with a B.S. in public relations and political science. I am currently a graduate student in the Media for Social Impact MA program at Columbia College Chicago. My hobbies include dancing, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling.

As a busy-brained person with an empathetic heart, I am constantly thinking about how I can improve the world around me. Although this mindset can be seen as a great quality to have, it can also be exhausting. I often turn to my gift of writing to ease the crazy going on inside. This website will explore my emotions about current events, major life lessons, and other things that I am passionate about.
